Luxurious Beachfront 1 Bedroom Recently Renovated, no hurricane damage
A luxurious, newly renovated, spacious one bedroom apartment overlooking the beautiful Condado beach from the 7th floor of Condominium Stella Maris, located between the Marriott hotel on the east and the La Concha hotel two blocks down the beach on the west. This 581 square foot space has an open concept living room/dining room/kitchen layout in front of a wall of windows facing the ocean. On a sunny day, or even a rainy day, the view is amazing!
In the living room area there is a 50“wall mounted flat screen cable TV and a DVD player. ( Wifi is provided free of charge.) And, although the apartment is best enjoyed by two guests, it can be expanded to accommodate four as inside the sofa is a full size pull-out bed. The ceiling fan adds to the comfortable tropical breeze that blows year round. The sound of the ocean might lull you into an afternoon nap but blackout curtains are also provided for a good night’s sleep.
The kitchen has a 4 burner glass top stove and oven, a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. It is fully equipped with plenty of glasses, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. And while the dining table in front of the ocean side windows seats four, there is room for
three to sit at the kitchen counter to have breakfast (or maybe cocktails) with the chef.
The bedroom is a Master Suite with a walk-in closet and an attached bathroom. There is both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, as well as blackout curtains, to insure a comfortable sleep in the king size bed. Also a 40” flat screen TV for when you just want to relax. All linens and towels are provided including a back-up set in case you might require it. In the closet there are beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and a small cooler to help you enjoy your time spent in the sun. In addition, there is a hair dryer in the bathroom and a back-up small supply of toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash should you forget to pack them.
The condominium is security conscious. There are discrete cameras monitoring the public areas. Special keys are required to enter the property and the front door. Each floor has a separate key for the elevator and another key for the fire stairwell to ensure both security and privacy. Then you have the keys to each individual apartment.
There is a coin-operated laundry room on the ground floor. A designated space in the parking area might be available ($10 per night) when arrangements are made at booking time. There are also several parking lots nearby, including at the hotel across the street.
The neighborhood is an eclectic combination of tourist shops and upscale boutiques, fast food places next to local food restaurants, a world class restaurant in the Vanderbilt at the end of the beach and the Hard Rock Café across the street from the Marriott. Walgreens and CVS are on our corner and a well-stocked grocery store is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. There is a gym within walking distance.
Tours out on the island can be arranged by the concierge desk at the hotel next door. Wind surfing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, zip lining, a visit to the rain forest and scuba diving are all available.
